I married my wife, Evangeline, in March of 1979, while stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. It was there that we both came into a relationship with God the Father through faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — and, of course, received the promise of the Father, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Almost immediately after coming to faith in Christ, I developed a deep hunger for reading and studying the Word of God. The Holy Spirit gave me an unexpected desire for Hebrew and Greek word-study tools, and over the years I built a large personal library of them. Today, an entire room of my home is filled with commentaries, Hebrew and Greek volumes, and a complete library of Logos Bible study software.
While stationed in Melbourne, Florida, I earned an Associate degree in Biblical Studies. After my military retirement in 1995, I pastored two churches that I founded — Sword of the Spirit International and The Prevailing Word. I later carried out itinerant ministry across Alabama, Georgia, New Jersey, and Tennessee, and overseas in Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
When those seasons of travel came to a close, my wife and I settled down at Church On The Rock in Melbourne, Florida, where we have been members since around 1997. This is a very brief look at my life, but I pray it gives you some insight into my love for God and His Christ, His Church, my wife and family, and all things God. Amen.
