I married my wife, Evangeline, in March of 1979, while stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. It was there that we both came into a relationship with God the Father through faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and, of course, received the promise of the Father, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Almost immediately after coming to faith in Christ, I developed a deep hunger for reading and studying the Word of God. The Holy Spirit gave me an unexpected desire for Hebrew and Greek word-study tools, and over the years I built a large personal library of them. Today, an entire room of my home is filled with commentaries, Hebrew and Greek volumes, and a complete library of Logos Bible study software.
While stationed in Melbourne, Florida, I earned an Associate degree in Biblical Studies. After my military retirement in 1995, I pastored two churches that I founded: Sword of the Spirit International and The Prevailing Word. I later carried out itinerant ministry across Alabama, Georgia, New Jersey, and Tennessee, and overseas in Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
When those seasons of travel came to a close, my wife and I settled down at Church On The Rock in Melbourne, Florida, where we have been members since around 1997. This is a very brief look at my life, but I pray it gives you some insight into my love for God and His Christ, His Church, my wife and family, and all things God. Amen.
