“Let Us Make Man”: Plural Persons, One Creator

Genesis 1:26–27 reveals personal plurality within one God: plural Persons, one Creator, no contradiction.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”

Genesis 1:26–27 teaches exactly what Trinitarians believe: “Us” reveals personal plurality; “His” reveals one God. Not three gods, one divine Being.

God speaks as “Us” elsewhere (Genesis 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8), while Scripture says creation is the work of the Father, Son, and Spirit (Genesis 1:2; John 1:1–3; Colossians 1:16; Hebrews 1:2).

Plural Persons. One Creator. No contradiction.

Why does God say "Let us make man" in Genesis 1:26?
